Seoul Namsan Tour Information (By cable-car or Bus)

Namsan (mountain) is one of the most popular site-seeing place of seoul, Korea.

 

At the top of the Namsan, you can see all around of the city scape of the seoul and you can also enjoy 'N Seoul Tower'.

'N Seoul Tower' has the popular observatory of the Seoul. Maybe you have already seen in the Korean drama or TV program. Also you can see the 'Seoul Fortress' (the wall) that is the important heritage site of the Choseon dynasty. 

 

There's two way to reach the top of the Namsan Park

 

1] Namsan Cable Car

 

It certainly gives easy way to reach top of the Namsan. It is faster than other two way to climb Namsan, because it carrys you from bottom station to top station just 3 minutes. At the top station, you can reach 'N Seoul Tower' by walking just about 2 minutes.

 

But it's fare is certainly most expensive than other. So you have to consider your travel budget or remaining time in Seoul.

 

 

You can save your budget to buy One-way ticket to take cable car from bottom to top, and you can take other method to down the mountain, by walking or by bus.

2] Namsan Shuttle Bus (Namsan Sunhwan Bus)

 

It is easy way to reach the Namsan mountain. If you take this bus at the Chungmuro Station (metro line 4 & 5), about 15 ~ 20 minutes to reach 'N Seoul Tower'.

* Detail information of bus stop nearby subway station ::

 

   1) Anguk Station (Line 3) - Exit 5 (about 5 seconds to bus stop)

   2) Chungmuro Station (Line 3) - Exit 2 (about 10 seconds to bus stop)

   3) City Hall Station (Line 1 & 2) - Exit 7 (about 4 minutes to bus stop)

   4) Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5) - Exit 2 (about 10 seconds to bus stop)

 

* Bus fare :: KRW 1,400

* Bus operation time :: 06:30 ~ 23:00 (6 ~ 10 minute intervals)

 

This bus is no longer accept cash fares, so you must prepare 'transportation card' to pay bus fare. Remember that if you do not want to be flurried at the bus stop.

 

And keep in mind that Namsan Shuttle Bus is running one-way direction.
